I got a few bottles of this recently and was also totally underwhelmed, lacks body and flavour and frankly I homebrewed a much better chocolate stout myself with a Coopers kit.

I found it underwhelming at molly yard, they should really drop the choclate part as the customer expects to much

I like the truffle stout, but I am glad it comes around only once a year, I think each year it is slightly different, and I really like that. The porterhouse have all manner of consistently brewed beers, I think it is nice that there is a specialty.

I loved the Easter Stout. I want to run away with it.

Liked the emerald when I tasted it in Galway. On draught in the PH it left me wanting.

Ahem...got a little lost...must have been the sess yesterday....

Popped in yesterday for a day of beer tasting. Porter beans was out of quite a few and only had Hilden Ale (nice) Copperhead (v nice), Golden Otter (got the last pint in the keg..bit yeasty but could see the potential it may have had), O'Hara's Pale ale (v nice and complex). They were out of Bruinette .

Stumbled up to Porter temple bar and they has even less left. No 3 kings, No Emerald,Amber. Got stuck into a few stouts - O'Hara's Easter stout (not bad) Belfast Black (grand) . Had a snifter of the Molly's and truffle stout.to be honest I am not a fan of either in any large quantity. Belfast Blonde was as tasty as ever and TSB went down well but at that stage it probably didn't matter.

Onto the B&C for some steak and a Buckleys which was nice and light and certainly would go well on a nice summers day or on a friday night when it's 43c in the beer hall.

Lesson learned for next year...get in asap and don't leave it until the second week!
