O'Hara's easter stout was my beer of the night. Absolutely delicious. And it was great to sample Porterhouse's chocolate truffle stout again. It was more bitter than I remember it being last year but the chocolate flavour is still huge (I can't think of a better word to describe it!). White Gypsy's amber lager was also very tasty.

On the other hand, I thought Hooker's dark wheat beer was a little disappointing, with a dominant wheaty harshness. White Gypsy's Emerald ale (on cask) tasted slightly off to me, though it might have been too young to form a proper opinion.

All in all a very enjoyable night!

Nice to see Oyster Stout get long overdue recognition, I've alway liked it from the keg so I must try the bottle. I had a pint of Copperhead on Friday and it was very nice, good to see more Pale Ales coming on the scene, I thought it was along the same lines as Hooker/Purgatory.

Will that Galway Hooker Dark Wheat beer be seen again or was it just a limited thing for a few days?

It was out this time last year aswell so I'd imagine it'll make an appearance every now and again.
