everyone else has pretty much described the beers on offer, all interesting and not half bad

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but the last bottle of my wheat beer went yesterday and after a few months in the cellar it become a kristal! I'm not sure if the images will show just how pale yellow it is but it looks completely different to the "lemonade" i brougt to the tasting.

Ye the photos make it look a lot darker than it was.almost verging on the paleness of a fizzy yellow rice based lager.

I think everyone who did this enjoyed it so how about another challenge? Low alcohol beers? Max 3.5% or an O.G of 1035? Wouldn't have top be restricted to all grain brewers this way.

my witbier did something similar, I think it was just that all the hazy bits settled out. If I leave the last bit it's super clear like a lager, but if I pour a little more the cloudiness comes back (even though the yeast appears still settled in the bottle so it must be just leaving it sit does it.

Yeah, I remember reading something about a "shelf-stable haze" being quite difficult for commercial micros to achieve.

A little bit of ordinary flour in the boil will add a soluble haze that should not precipitate output
