Damn. Forgot to bring bottles into the B&C yesterday.
As you can imagine, I will be most upset that my bloody strange beer, that I nearly gave up on an poured down the drain, may not be shown in it best light.

Will this be the strangest tasting night yet? I can't wait!

Good point. I take it someone has a digital camera/phone/internet/bottle opener/dog whistle device?

I'll have a camera and a bottle opener.

I can't make it this evening due to family commitments, but I'll bring bottles of my Dampf-Wit? to the next tasting I'm at.
I've drank/tested about 10 bottles so far and its definitely getting much better and less of a cidery and lactic taste.

Well now that was an interesting tasting.

We had RichieH's lovely nettle beer. Smelled of olives and was really earthy tasting. Great.

Sbillings' accidental lambic. Somewhere along the line this beer developed the right infection. Sour and tart. I even got a bottle of this to bring home.

Rossa brought a pale lager type beer. This was really nice to drink cold on such a hot day like yesterday.

Then there was kev's raspberry beer. Lovely stuff this, again it was sour. Must be the wheat gives it that taste. We agreed his non raspberry beer tasted a bit like homemade lemonade.

A great range of beers came from this challenge. All of them tasting different.
