All grain challenge tasting. Pick a date. 16 years 10 months ago #1

Hi All,
After some deliberation and talking to the B&C management, it has been decided that it might be better to taste the all grain challenge beers on a separate night to the June tasting. The fear is that otherwise the June tasting might end up being a bit big, which might scare the other customers.

As I don't want to cut down on anyone's maturation time (he says out of enlightened self interest) we thought a date after the June tasting would be better.

So, as the regular tasting is on Thursday the 18th of June, here are the options for the All Grain Challenge tasting:

Thursday the 25th of June.
Thursday the 2nd of July.
Thursday the 9th of July.

Let the debate begin.

well the nettle beer is ready now... but if the tasting is in july I get to brew the heather beer too.. so I abstain, in Rawlsian spirit I cannot let self interest rule the day. any of those dates suit and I withdraw behind the veil of ignorance.

I came back from a short break yesterday and tasted the beer I bottle before leaving. It's gone south. <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt=":cry:" title="Crying or Very sad" /><!-- s:cry: -->
A very sour taste.
Selfishly I would prefere to have it July to have another quick go.
It'll be very young though.
I might still bring a bottle of the other stuff for help on what went wrong.
