Although it'd be hard to run a background check on everyone, I think it'd be easy to correlate a swing to "unusual" votes against users join dates to see if there's a pattern. Lets not get carried away with conspiracy theories (yet! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->)

Is your issue with the list itself? I also don't particularly like seeing the buds of the world on the list, but at least it's an open field. I suppose the issue is either make it open to every beer brewed on the Island, or every originally Irish beer brewed on the Island, or come up with a definition of what Craft Beer is and try to evaluate every beer to see if it at least fits that. There's a fine line sometimes.

Or have a category for Macro Swill <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P --> (that was a joke! I believe the single best beer award and runners up is the logical thing to do for all sorts of reasons).
