It will be episode 4, and the series will start in either October or January.

[quote:1t7ffoie]Myself, James & Oz got a bit carried away givin out about the lack of real beer, there was even some bad language, and i dont think the producer seen the importance of this debate until Oz set him straight. [/quote:1t7ffoie]It was a fun evening and hopefully the "lively discussion" will make it on air. Thanks to the B&C as usual for hosting another tasting session and for the wonderful plates of nibbles which were more than nibbled. It was good to see some new faces (for me at least as I didn't make the July tasting) and catch some beers I thought I'd missed.

Had a good night but then I always do when a bunch of us get together.

Can't say I cared for the format of the tasting with being given 15 seconds to talk about the Irishness of your beer and then being marked on Blarney as well as the beer, though.

Whereas I'll conform to any racial stereotype if there's free beer involved.

Sounds like it was to get a bit of the Dragons Den in. Out of morbid curiousity. and the fact that I guess that most of what happened will end up on the cutting room (virtual) floor, how did each of you define the "Irishness" of the beer being offered?

Beer without Borders I say! <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

I said it was made from 100% Dublin water and that, like everything else in Ireland (especially the drink) it's hideously expensive because of all the hops.
