They do a lovely spiced ale with mystery floaty herby bits.

By strange coincidence, I'll be moving to an old Hansa Stadt, Muenster. There's a cobbled street there with brass-bound stones from all the other Hanseatic cities. Very pretty, but no floaty bits that I could see

Yeah, and there's McSorley's in New York (which I found an online presence for accidentally, but then realised it was the pub one of our gaming group had been talking about last week ) - not a medieval bar as such, but going strong in the same place for 100+ years, and hasn't changed since it opened. It serves light ale and dark ale and that's it

Mmm, actually that La Hansa place looks great. I think I need to go to Taillinn

Everybody needs to go to Tallinn. There's a proper decent Austrian-built brewpub[/url:2ep8ouru], and a bar completely, and terrifyingly, dedicated to Depeche Mode. What's not to like?

Oh really? Oh well, maybe I won't be such a hurry to try it when next I'm in New York then
