Wetherspoon set to open up to 30 pubs in Irela 11 years 8 months ago #127

Cheers Shane,

However Wetherspoons like to put a massive Corporate Stamp on their pubs - plus the fact that the Kitchen is nowhere near to their standards.

When I saw the pix of the 3 Tuns I thought: "Fek, thats EXACTLY like the pub I used to drink in in Ashton-u-Lyne ( where I used to live in N.E. M/Cr)

Latest word is that the staff will meet with new JDW management this Friday the 15 th which is a bit last minute as it changes hands on the 19th

I will be there on the last day in "Vulture/scavenging" mode

After that I will be doing "skip archeology"

I was in last night for a pint when herself went around penny's accords the road. The bar man who's name I can never remember said they may be closing up on Sunday night. Running out of stock so no need to stay open I suppose.

Been asking around. The Church is a foregone conclusion, which means it probably won't happen.

Went into the Three Tuns in Blackrock for a pint last night. Bru ale was on cask, it had gone off. It was replaced without a quibble.

I thought the place was loud and lacked any atmosphere. I hope the other Spoons that open are better. The Dark Horse has nothing to fear.

You've probably all seen the new (much cheaper) menu, but I've noticed the Cask Marque and Beoir logos are gone off the top. The CM one shouldn't have been there to begin with, but anyone know why the Beoir one is gone?
