They're also allegedly looking at a very prominent pub in Leixlip, but I suspect it doesn't tick all the boxes, especially now that the Salmon Leap has re-opened with a full food menu, and is serving breakfast from 7am!

I just read that this morning. It has a real 'spoons look about it alright.

I was in the Three Tun Tavern last weekend and enjoyed my pints. They 'only' had three cask ales on.

Juxtapose the Wetherspoons development with the VFI response to White Hag's wanting a beer tent at the Sligo Fleadh (they objected and had the WH proposal kibosh'd). I'm hoping time will show the VFI as Nokia to 'Spoons iPhone. They said it couldn't be done. Whoever laughs last laughs best!

The boro will officially become a spoons pub Wednesday coming. 20th. They are running down the craft kegs so if anyone wants one last pint get in now.

Question for those who live there:

JDW bought the 3 tuns (can't remember original name) some time ago.

From when the builders moved in, how long was it to openning?

We NCB'ers need a time frame at least of when is the Boro 'likely' to re-open.

I would rekon that a full "spoonerisation would take anything from 6 to 12 weeks.

Tonic wasn't trading when JDW bought it, so it's not a similar situation. I was talking to someone recently about the Old Boro and I can't really remember what they said but it could have been 12 weeks. I'm not really sure why it needs to close at all.
