Word on the Sword's streets is that 'Spoons will not develop the Boro (listed building and all that).

They will just sit on it for the moment

I wouldn't pay any heed to rumours in Swords! Shur wasn't there a rumour they were buying a completely different pub!

EDIT: Their planning applications look interesting: they want to change the upstairs to 14 ensuite bedroom guest accommodation.

IIRC Smiths group had the same idea - sure you are looking at a recent PA as when I searched FingalCOC I couldny find any PP for JDW!

AFAIK: JDW are not into hotels/GHs

Just put wetherspoon in the surname field on this page. Recent applications for Swords are dated 14 November.

Interesting that they are being rejected as "Invalid Planning Application"

Never heard of Spoons hotels always useful to know.
