I would agree that different ageing processes might just be ignored ( so a bottled/kegged/casked/whisky aged beer would be kept together for simplicity in our competition ) but surely a 4% jump in Abv is not down to ageing?

You're missing the Kinnegar beers Limeburner, Devil's Backbone and Scraggy Bay. Bought some for xmas in McHugh's in Artane.

Preachers Best Bitter ( Franciscan Well ) is one I just noticed isn't on the list .

One thing to note , there was a lot of very good beers last year , No matter what way the voting goes I think everyone will agree , it's a hard choice !
