I encountered that attitude in the late 80s, all the way through to when I was working in the bank in the late 90s. Better project managers refused to let the date be stored in two digits, but lots from a particular background didn't care as they reckoned they'd have moved on or the system would have been superceded before it mattered.
Even our phone system in 1999 was using 2 digits and Siemens couldn't tell us what would happen on Jan 1st.

Point is, again, the beer itself hasn't changed, but it's no longer Irish Craft Beer because of a Revenue imposed thing.
