Just wondering why you prefer stainless? I, and many others use aluminum kettles and they work great! Just make sure to build a passive oxide layer and you use regular soap and hot water to clean. You can get them for a fraction of the cost of stainless, they conducts heat better, and they will last just as long!

If your prepared to wait 4-5 weeks we have a range of all grain equipment on its way. We have 30, 36 and 57 litre stock pots on the way. The 36 and 57 litre pots have a 3 ply bottom that includes 1 layer of aluminum and 2 layers of stainless steel. These are heavy duty pots that will last a lifetime.
All the best

I checked out that French/german site and their ss 38.5L pot is not compatible with a gas burner. Which is a same as they were all set to give me a special price including shipping of 75 yoyos.

Ill keep looking
