I downloaded the BeoirFinder app at the RDS on Saturday (on latest iPhone, latest software). The only problem is that the map and list is completely empty. I am guessing this means the app usually downloads data from the Beoir Directory before returning results? I deleted and reinstalled a couple of times at home and still blank. Has anyone else experienced this when trying to browse the directory on their phone.

I was hoping this would let me take my new found beer snobbery to another level, picking places for dinner out based on whether they have something interesting to drink.

All thoughts and any guidance welcome. (And early apologies if this is too Off Topic for the thread.)[/quote:2duj02hk]

hmmmm, it should not be completely empty- the App does ship with a built in database of entries from when it was last compiled. Let me check it out...

How bizarre. Now the app is fully populated. I should have checked this morning before posting. Sorry for the trouble.

Sorry posted this somewhere else but just saw it might be more appropiate in here.

Twice I've been in The Thatch Bar, Grannagh, Kilmacow and the metalman tap was dry. Not sure if they stock it anymore.

One to add to the list is Raglan Road (The Esquire) in Tramore. They have bottles of O'Hara's.

Anybody suggested The Third Place in Smithfield?

8 Degrees HG and Sunburnt in bottles, says the website:

I'd say leave that in, it could be they missed a delivery or it could be discontinued but at least if people go in to ask for it they're more likely to re-order.
