Westmalle in a pint glass? 18 years 9 months ago #1

im probably being a little picky here, or maybe alot! was in the porterhouse for a few beers last night, and had one or two Westmalles, which were, eh, served in a pint glass...hmmm. It wasn't fantastic i have to say, im a big fan but was a bit dissapointed. Anyone tried it yet?

I've always liked it, especially the Tripel.
I can't understand the PH serving up in a pint glass! WTF?? Thats like serving red wine in a champagne glass!
They really should know better.

No, it's like serving red wine in a 33cl glass.

"I only had four glasses of wine. Why am I so drunk?"

Pints of strong beer are a recipe for disaster.

Well I presume it wasn't a full pint of westmalle!!!!!
What i meant by the glass comparison is that you won't get enough aroma from the champagne glass (or in this pint glass) to do the drink justice - you might as well be drinking with a clothes peg on your nose.
