What are they charging for a pint of La Chouffe in the PH?

This seems a little silly to me. For a start I'm sure the brewers at Westmalle would be horrified to discover the Irish are slopping their fine beer into pint glasses. I would have thought that the brewery marketing team would have insisted on proper glassware much like the way beer is served in Belguim with a specific glass for each beer.

You are dead right Hendrixcat, no reason why they couldnt have. i mean they break out the steins for the oktoberfest so why cant they get the appropriate glasses for the Belgians? Little bit carless

Watch for lightning clouds over Temple Bar: those monks have connections.

To a Belgian wholesaler, advising a retailer to serve it in a proper glass in an appropriate measure would probably be like telling them not to drink it straight from the tap or serve it mixed with pineapple juice and a slice of mango. One expects a certain level of basic competance and common sense.

I wonder have any Belgian tourists asked for a Westmalle yet and been handed a pint with a friendly Irish wink.

That's insane! How much did you get charged for that?

Before we slate the supplier, Word on the grape vine was that they refused the proper glasses offered (chalice glasses was one type) to them for their Belgian Week when getting in the brews. They said they wanted to use their own...

I don't understand the porterhouse, i had the same problem a few weeks back (which i posted up here). Rochefort 10 given without a glass. I say No. With a half pint glass. I say No. With a pint glass. I say No. With a wine glass. I admit defeat.

Which Porterhouse was it?
