"C&C":3thxcno0 wrote: Bulmers Pear is made from 100% quality Pear Juice.[/quote:3thxcno0]which is totally different from saying it is 100% made from quality Pear Juice. All the statement above says is that there's pear juice in it: I'll bet Kopparberg is the same.

from here bulmers pear faq[/url:pq1uiz43][/quote:pq1uiz43]

There's a difference between "made from 100% quality pear juice" and "made 100% from quality pear juice".
For the former to be true, there can be anything at all in there, heroin, strichnine, saccherine, methanol, petrol and as long as there is 1 drop of pure pear juice, then the statement is factually true.

I had the misfortunate to taste it once. No wonder the lads in the ads on tv are so terrified. Nasty Nasty stuff, probably best saved for cleaning out paint brushes or degreasing an engine block.

Hmm I quite liked it.

Kopparberg is a totally different animal, as said it's a clear alcohol base with pear wine or something added,it's on the side of the bottle.

Ah well I'll still have my sneaky can every month or so.....

I've been caught by the marketing mumbo jumbo a few times, bought some 'Wild Atlantic Salmon' once.
Yes the Atlantic is wild, the salmon ain't though.
