Belfast Black, I think it's really good, very chocolatey and lovely hit of black malt coming through.

Goose Island Harvest Ale - this is really yummy, beautiful copper colour, sweet malts, fruity and citrus hops character. Very balanced.

Last night I were drinking my First ever extract APA. A little worse for wear this morning, a sampling turned into a session.

Friday night I had a couple of mates over for a beer tasting of some of my latest creations.
The beers on offer were:
1. White Owl Wit (my first proper witbier)
2. The Old Brown Mare (an Irish Red Ale in the Clothworthy Dobbin mould)
3. Black Castle Stout ( a dry stout from the keg)
All three went down very well I'm pleased to say with maybe the ale shading it. The plan was to go out for a few after some tasings, but given it was a miserable night we ended staying at my gaff to consume homebrew. A few sore head were reported on Saturday, but I was glad the beer went down well.
