wasn't there quite a bit of competition in Finglas pubs a few years ago when one pub advertised all drinks for about €3 and the rest soon followed suit?

Which I'm sure caused the usually moderate drinkers of Finglas to descend into a orgy of binge drinking.

I've been looking for the thing I read where the vintners undertook to prevent price competition in Ireland in the interests of the public good. Can't find it though. Grr.
