Hi all,

Just joined Beoir today. Am the Master Brewer for the Rye River Brewing Company, which produces McGargles so far.
After over 14 years working for Guinness around the world, I am fulfilling my dream of brewing my own beer and running my own brewery.
Looking forward to getting deeper into the world of Craft Beer in Ireland and the exciting place it has become!
Rye River Brewery is under construction at the moment. Once built happy to show anyone around and any home brewer who wants to brew some of their own beer with me on a bigger scale will be most welcome! We will have a 1hl pilot plant to play with.

Hi All,

Just to let you know that I will be at the Alltech event with N17 Rye Ale and also just 1 keg of my Oatmeal Stout.

I am hugely indebted to Sam Black for helping me get off the starting block in his brewery. I hope my own kit will be here by end April 14.

I decided to go the contract route initially as my preferred premises in Tuam are running a competition for a year's free rent and a cash prize which started in November 2013 but winner won't be announced until end March 14. As a result I ended up just sitting around waiting and it was doing my head in.

With the Alltech event coming up I thought it was too good a chance to miss so I've been working away gearing up for this...it's all still a bit DIY though :/
