Hi, I've been lurking on the site occasionally for about two and a half years which is about when I started homebrewing. I've found it to be a useful resource so I thought it was about time to say hi.

I got into the idea when I was living in Canada, but living in a rented apartment, I decided to wait until I got back to the old sod to give it a go. I started with the introductory recipe in Palmer's "How to Brew" and moved on from there. I would generally do a brew about every month to six weeks and I've been doing all-grain with a very basic set-up for just over a year now.

If you live in Dublin, don't forget the monthly meetings/drinking nights. Bring your beer. Tonight is the January meet. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Hello everyone.

I'm based in the midlands and I started my first beer kit a few weeks back. I have been making wine at home for a few years and my father made the wine and beer for many years. Looking forward to trying this beer brew, I hope it will be ok.

OK, thanks, I hope to learn lots from this site.
