alcohol free beer / low strength 17 years 10 months ago #1

what do you rather do .....you are out and you have the car, work in the morning etc etc so no booze. I did this one night back and had 3 pints of Schneider weiss alcholfree . Not too bad to be fair.

Does the process of making alchol free beer mirror the normal process with the alchol taken at the end ? if so would it be easier to make a nice beer that comes in at around 1.5 %- 2 % so you could have 3-4 and still drive. What is the sacrifice taste v %. ie is 0 % 0 taste and 2 % half good tasting ?

Is it tru that alchl free stff is full of chemicals ?

First make beer, then boil it, alcohol evaporates at around 78 degrees. I'm sure this affects the flavour, the only decent alcohol free beer i've had lately is Paulaner 0.
Today's alcohol free days certailny beat the "Kaliber" ones.

Becks N/A is pretty decent except that after 2 bottles of it it begins to taste just like water

If you can't drive after a few pints then you shouldn't be on the road in the first place <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> No seriously drink a glass of orange. What's the point drinking alcohol free muck?
