Tea and coffee isn't too badly priced in the Porterhouse. Something a little over the €2 mark, if I recall. Compares well to what you would pay in a cafe.

They also do milkshakes in the Porterhouse North, which is great because that means I can get my wife and daughter in there, so I can have a pint.

i think with so many people now not living in walking distance to the pub anymore pubs need to look at stocking more than a jar of nescafe and a box of barrys. now dont get me wrong im not one for having my few pints in a setting more suited to high tea, but not ALL designated drivers are fizzy-pop drinkers

I hope to God I'm never in the Porterhouse and not drinking - sounds like some sort of sick contrappasso from Dante's Inferno. Perhaps for crimes relating to non-alcohlic beer.
