myself and a friend did the 3 main stouts before in a hotel bar in cork. easy enough to tell them apart although they were not great pints all round. as for o'hara id say it would stand out quite a bit.
I would think like most people I could not get all the stouts right, definitely know murphy's from Guinness/Beamish but could no be so sure between Guinness and Beamish. We are a shower of bright sparks aren't we!!!!
I'm pretty confident I could telll the stouts apart, but it would be an interesting experiment to see if that confidence is misplaced. I must keep an eye out for a pub with all 3. Could be difficult to find Murphys outside of Cork though...
Anyone want to give this a go in O'Neill's some time? I'd say there's an article in it. The difficult bit will be to avoid being thrown out for weirdness.

Get someone to set up some half pint glasses. Beer A, B and C written on the beer mats and see how we do.
Mid week would probably be best. Avoid the crowds.
