Should breweries set a RRP for their beer? 12 years 1 week ago #19

Where do you get your baseline to say that it is € or €€€ ?
One of the arguments above was about having to ask the price of a pint.
I thought there was a law that said the price of a pint was to be visible to the punter.
I understand this may be difficult if there are 100 beers, but is that not the law?

Perhaps a campaign to have the prices of all beers listed (voluntarily) at the point of sale would be in order. Lots of good pubs already do this.

Good question- and the bands would also have to reflect rural/Dublin pricing. My gut would be <€4.50; €4.50-€6.00; >€6.00. This would be on a standard pint of an ABV of 4-5% (ish)
