aparently you need to feed it once every about 5 days.
10g sugar to every 100ml water.
if you don't brew with the liquid, just pour it out and add new feed to the GBP, keping all the bits as they'll grow into new ginger beer plant

When you're making batches of ginger beer,do the same but with lemon and ginger added too.

The instructions I got emailed to me were a bit odd, but that's what i've pieced together about care from it and from other websites.

It seems like trub basically forms in lumps that float around the place like a lava lamp, then instead of dumping it after getting your brew, you're reusing it over and over.
Something similar to reactivating the yeast sediment from a bottle of beer and 'stepping up'(

If you want, I'll try get all the information together once I receive the stuff, otherwise PM meand I'll forward you on the confusing instructions email <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Well, I'll be certainly be picking up a couple of bottles to taste.

I find most commercial ginger beer have an overwhelming artificial sweetness or are very apologetic about the ginger flavour. Hopefully "Sullivan's" won't fall into either of these categories.

Best of luck with your new venture!
