Should be in most good off licence chains in the next month or so Next Door, Carry Out, aswell as independant stores ect, also maybe Supervalu around the South region at least in the near future. I have tried a Moscow Mule cocktail with sullivan's before and it was perfect,Absolut by far the nicest vodka to mix it with if your making some for yourself unless you want to go mad with some nice Grey Goose or something. Also a nice twist would be to use it with Absolut Raspberry or Mandarin, (also uses up novelty vodka's like that as they tend to sell slow enough) and I know if you mix it with white rum you should get a nice cocktail I think its known as 'A Furlong Too Late' in the bar I worked in. Where is the bar you mentioned I could definetly drop in if you wanted?

We have tried brewing both however and found the best response to the first type that we currently brew, mainly as the ginger flavour seems to be stronger without the malt.[/quote:1wx7dgmf]
Do you ferment it with a SCOBY or is it yeast only? Any chance you'd make ginger beer plant babies available for interested homebrewers?

I'm sure it's just as nice without a GBP. I'm looking forward to trying some.

This got me interested, and googling.
You can buy Ginger Beer Plant at[url:2arrbpvs]http://www.retro-culture.com/[/url:2arrbpvs]
although they're out of stock at the moment <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->

Their page says bang them an email and they'll let you know when it is back in stock.

I've previously been brewing the Coopers Ginger Beer from kit (tasty and strong but 40 pints of beer-strength Ginger Beer is quite a lot) and wanted to get back to making low-alcahol Ginger Beerin small quantities, so waiting patiently for this to get back in stock...
