Oh, I quite agree that that is the most likely explanation.

I just wanted to point out that the debate about whether calling it a lager, or not, would affect sales, is academic, as it is not up to the Porterhouse to make that decision.

Hi Guys,

I'm assuming that it's an error on the menu. You can be sure that we would never promote it as a lager and I don't imagine that PH would deliberately do it either. Presumably, they've more interest in selling their own lagers over GH. I'll bring it up though

Just to say I have at least one pint of Hooker on nearly all my visits to the Bierhaus in Cork and it remains really a lovely refreshing beer. Well done Aadan and Ronan - on the evening of the Heineken Cup Rugby FInal a few weeks back Aidan was cleaning the pipes in the Bierhaus before the game - thought he was the new barman there!!!!!
