Hi guys

Been busy for a while but just to let you know the lambic experiment is all ready to go. We have got an alcohol licence and everything! Took delivery of the Bordeaux barrel today and I will be in Belgium during the last week of august picking up the jonge and oud lambic for the blend. The blackberries will be all hand picked by me.

Fingers crossed it actually tastes nice lol

This will be the first traditional lambic that had been blended outside of Belgium

Great news! One step closer to cracking open a bottle of Bordeaux Barrel Blackberry Lambic.

And how the heck are you getting 50 gallons (US) of lambic back from Belgium??

My friend (a complete lambic nut) who is in this 50/50 with me is currently based in london. I will drive to london in my Golf then we will swap to a Landrover Defender and jump on the Eurotunnel. Its not a long drive from there. Once im back in London I might get the slow boat from liverpool home as to save my clutch lol.
