I had a couple of pints of Kenmare in D O'Shea's pub in Sneem last September. I was fairly underwhelmed, I have to say.

Kenmare beer has both the same malt and hop profile of Blarney Blonde except the water ph is different. It came about with the publicans in Kenmare coming together to promote the town. A possible chance they may set up their own micro brewery. The town has been badly hit by drop off in american tourists and Cork holiday home snobs losing their shirt on residential property.

I find it hard to believe that Kenmare beer has the "same malt and hop profile as Blarney Blonde", but I am not disputing your knowledge! It tasted totally different to me. Has Kenmare beer always had this profile or has it changed in the last 6 months?

(No, I don't have one <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->)
