At the risk of stating something really obvious, did you check your spam folders? It seems to happen to some people signing up here, so they never fully activate their accounts.

It's the fact that it said "An Error Has Occurred!" that made me think it couldn't possibly be the spam filter...

It did show up in my spam folder eventually (after a few retries) so I'm up and running now <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
