They had them in Lilac Wines on Wednesday evening but alas they were still boxed and not yet for sale. I'll hopefully get to try them this evening. They did mention a tasting would be coming up in a couple of weeks so we'll see what happens.

Lilac and Gibneys and very soon Sheils 17 years 6 months ago #26

Hey guys,

Dropped off the beers to Lilacs and Gibney's in Malahide this week. I need to coordinate with Bryan at Sheils but I hope they'll have them there next week. I'm also talking to Sweeney's and dropped off samples to them. Any other places you guys can suggest that might be interested please let me know?

I'll be in Galway this weekend so look for our stand and taste our beers and the best cider in the world. I'm biased, but I'm just psyched because it was over-priced in my opinion (10 euro retail for a 500ml) and I just talked my distributor down so it'll be around 8 Euro.

Other offies to try (maybe you've already covered these) would be McHugh's on the Malahide Road and Kilbarrack Road, Redmonds in Ranelagh, The DrinkStore in Stoneybatter.

The Speakeasy beers are rather nice by the way, I'm enjoying the Prohibition Ale at the moment

The Irish offies with a particular reputation for decent beers are the green pins on this map[/url:mxlaj9qs].

Yes, I had a feeling you'd be along

I really hope McHughs will take advantage of this. It would give their American selection quite a boost, and I don't think they would be short of buyers either
