For the record - it wasn't me!
I have been very vocal about the branding from the start, I hate any sort of "Paddywhackery" and the beer is nondescript, I handed a sample of IPA back to a barman once and told him he had the lager and IPA taps mixed up - he didn't.
However, this is a childish stunt,the attack appears to have been perpetrated on the brand and not the brewer. Notwithstanding the offence caused to Rye River, I can't see it doing much harm to the brand. Those of us who are into our beer will usually skim straight past and those people who are looking for something different, but don't really know what they want will be attracted by the "funny" branding and buy it anyway regardless of whether its micro, macro, Irish, British or Martian.
It was a stupid petty act but if you can provoke such a reaction then you are at least having some impact on the world <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="
