Maybe we are looking at a Beoir inspired re-writing of "The Fly" - which has a happy ending in that the fly/human and the human/fly both have supper powers and do good?

Ugghh!!!

Didn't get a particularly definitive answer but I've ordered my first bottle of Starsan yesterday so that I can rely on my spray bottle long term

Thanks Spud and Lars, good to know. I tend to use StarSan mostly these days, and keep a spray bottle filled with it, just in case. Bleach and vinegar are considerably cheaper, so no worries mixing up fresh stuff every time! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
