Would you mind sharing any of your own notes on the off flavors that might help in the future, I'd like to update my notes with more Irish references.

e.g. Spicy (cloves) smelt like clove rock to me.

I like the idea of being able to send someone to a sweet shop to get acetaldehyde (apple jacks), acetic (the chipper), etc.

Some nice local smell associations would be great but all random associations are welcome!
