So for those of us travelling from Dublin (who obviously expect the rest of you to conform to our schedule) the 12:40 train out of Heuston gets to Roscommon at at 14:42. Does that suit? Any transport suggestions for getting up to the brewery, or getting to Galway for that matter.

Its a long walk in February weather 20 to 25 minutes so a pre booked taxi may be in order. I don't know my travel arrangements to Roscommon town that day but if the car is available then the need for a taxi is out. Is a Minibus to Galway needed because I can ask some of the local decent ones for prices etc if we have some times.

If you want to visit an interesting bar on a slight detour to Galway can I recommend one of my Locals "Hells Kitchen" in Castlerea. Beer is standard west of Ireland but the decor is something else!!
