I'm in for making the trip aswell. On Eyre square there is a hostel called Kinlay House. It's a fine place, does the job, plenty of Spainish if you're into the sort of thing.

Great. Sounds like we have a date decided. It is clearly not going to be possible to accommodate everybody, but I'm sure there will other occasions.

Like I mentioned before, I'm quite happy to organise a bus each way from Galway. We could meet in a pub beforehand and all go up together.

The Bierhaus does not normally open until 4.00pm so we may have to pick somewhere else. But they may open early if we requested. Depends on what time or how long you want to spend in the brewery.

As it's not really set up for tours, I suggest that standing in a cold seatless industrial building will loose its appeal pretty quickly and that a couple of hours in the brewery would be more than a enough for a tour, a bit to eat and a few beers. But if you wish to spend the whole day, you're more than welcome.

Therefore, initial suggested itinerary.

Meet in pub at 2.00pm
Take bus at 3.00pm
Arrive brewery 4.30 approx
Tour, food and beer until 7.30 approx
Arrive back in Galway 9.00pm approx
Spend rest of evening enjoying Galway's venues
