The one place that springs to my mind is Philly Grimes. Tom is trying to do something good with beer (fighting a losing battle too I think) and has cask Helvick at times (but not last Friday when I fancied one) and he is a gent.

I have some friends who have just taken up/ are about to start brewing so they would probably be up for it too.

Phillys sounds good ! - I was trying to think of a place where they wouldn't mind if we brought in one or two of our own brews from time to time
& I know Phillys has a nice little room upstairs too Might give it until the end of the week and see if some more people sign up - could arrange something for Saturday Week maybe ? that'd be the first of October - I can always drop in & ask Tom - I know he's put on some stuff for some mates of mine over the years - as you say he's a gent !

Just looking at the bus timetable, last bus to wexford is at 7feckin30, thats unreal!

I'm pretty flexible on the time -I guess it's easy for me though, being on the outskirts of the city - I wouldn't mind meeting in the afternoon and finishing up early enough - its seems some of the other guys are outside the city too - so what does everyone think ? an excuse for early afternoon pints sound good? <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> maybe folk could stick down what they think their ideal time frame would be and we could come to some kinda consensus ?

Saturday afternoon seems to suit most, maybe kick off around 2ish til 5 or 6 or whenever?
Sunday afternoon is an option too. The venue owner may have a preference for one or the other.

I'm due a trip down that way soon, might be able to attend, depending on the date yous decide.
I wouldnt be regular though.
