hey MaF - yeah that was about the time frame I had in my head ! dunno about Sunday though - usually reserved as the " quality family time day " !!! Also given the way our glorious public transport system is people like Spud395 mightn't even get to Waterford !! but then again if it's the common consensus I guess Family time could be rescheduled !!! (I'm much more fun when I've a few anyway)
Hey JamesM - the more the merrier - Not lookin for a long term commitment or anything !!!!! Feel Free to Drop In & Out as you can, I can see the same happening with most people coming & going as they have time/opportunity - I was thinking maybe once a month would be enough of a commitment for people ? (Or fortnightly? - again the consensus thingy)

Once a month like the B&C meets is probably enough especially if you don't get to brew as often as you'd like <!-- s:cry: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cry.gif" alt="" title="Crying or Very sad" /><!-- s:cry: -->

It is always handy to get feedback on your brews - better if it is objective - lads that are being given free beer to taste tend to be only complimentary about it. If they even bother to taste it as they swig it down.

I dropped into Tom in Phillys yesterday evening - He seemed pretty open to the idea of using his place - offered us the room upstairs too, if we wanted it - only problem is that he doesn't open until 4 on a Saturday - Catering for the matches & what not - I was thinking that may be a little late for some people ? If so I guess we could just meet up somewhere like Geoffs/Downses for the first one ? - Geoffs is definitely open for lunch time trade not sure about Downses though - also I don't know what craft beers they have available - is that an influencing factor ? might be ok for first meet & then we could see how things are going ? Unless anyone has any better ideas?

Around 2ish would be better, but if nowhere else is available then 4 could be ok. I'm afraid I wouldn't know anywhere else to suggest, as I don't frequent the city often!

yeah @ 2 would prob be best - there's a few places open around that time - Phillys the pub suggested is off the beaten track a bit - but there's other more central places that'd be open around that time

I can't imagine that Geoffs will allow you to bring in a few brews with you and it gets packed at lunchtime on Saturday. Downes doesn't open until later in the evening either.
I will make a few enquiries and see if I can come up with something
