Poc, I'm bad at judging crowds too, but in the Well it was an all-day (two day?) event, so there was a lot of coming and going. I left at about six, by which time it had really filled up.
As this doesn't have the luxury of being on a licenced premises I presume most people will try to hit it as early as possible.

With a few months notice, I would have been more than willing to provide a couple of conies of beer, along with the use of my regulator and distributor, for an ICB stand. I would also have been in position to offer the use of one of my empty conies to any other member who wanted to bring a beer.

I've sent a mail to Brenda, so let's see what happens.

Maybe next year we'll be in a position to have a stand at an event like this or the Well, if they're willing.

I feel I should clarify my position. I do not have a problem with this event. More power to them and the best of luck.

* Checks oncall rota... Not on call that weekend. Sweet!*

And I will do my level best to be there, to support the event. I am just worried that such a bold name and a rushed event, do not make the best of bedfellows make.

At least with Dessie, the opposing attackers are always afraid that Dessie will throw in one of his trademark red card worthy tackles and put someone in hospital, which I suppose is admirable.
