It's definitely a fun day out, Alex, but if it's like last year there won't be anything you can't get in the off licences and bars of Galway.

I think it's worth going to if you don't have to travel too far, but unless they publish an impressive beerlist in advance I doubt I'll be crossing the country again to get to it.

If you have access to a good off licence last year's lineup won't have overexcited you.

I enjoyed it (a little too much) last year although as noted the selection of Irish brewers could have been improved. I've emailed to get a list of brewers/beers as I would have thought they should have some idea with only a month to go. Last year I could understand that it took them a while to get this out as it was the inagaural event but this time they've had a year to get it organised.

The entry fee is more pricey than last year given that the amount of beer tokens has decreased. I'm not sure what the basis of the price increase is.

If I'm in Galway that weekend I'll go along for the Saturday but I would hope to see a decent lineup in advance.

I got an e mail too promising bigger and better things than last year. I hope to go, having missed it last year. I'm over due a trip to Galway at any rate.
