Maybe the URL should also go under the "supporting........" on the coloured side of the card in similar sized font.

I also found the use of Union odd. The word seems serious and nearly archaic nowadays and doesn't sound inviting if we'd like to attract new members. Suggestions: club, group, beer fans, beer lovers. "Ireland's beer fans maintain a directory....." "come and join us!"

Maybe replace the qr code real estate with the twitter and Facebook handle? Does anyone use qr codes?

Possible replacement suggestions:
concord
junction,
juncture
confluence,
consensus,
coming together
junction,
juncture
unification,
confederation
unison,

"Diablo":vu0t66z8 wrote: The word seems serious and nearly archaic nowadays and doesn't sound inviting if we'd like to attract new members.[/quote:vu0t66z8]With a bit of box-twiddling I've changed the last two paragraphs to:
[quote:vu0t66z8]Ireland’s beer consumer group Beoir maintains a directory of all these outlets, available for free via the web links on the right.

Find Irish craft beer near you and help support independent brewing in Ireland.[/quote:vu0t66z8]
Does that work?

"Diablo":vu0t66z8 wrote: "come and join us!"[/quote:vu0t66z8]Argh! Run away! Seriously, I don't want it to be a recruitment thing: it's just to advertise the directory.

"Diablo":vu0t66z8 wrote: Maybe replace the qr code real estate with the twitter and Facebook handle?[/quote:vu0t66z8]I'm not sure how to do this. The Twitter one is fine, but our Facebook address is
<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.facebook.com/pages/Beoir/177965475553772">www.facebook.com/pages/Beoir/177965475553772
It's not exactly a "handle", is it? Is there a standard way of presenting these, other than "Find us on Facebook"?

Yep

Not sure, I don't do the facebook thing. Maybe one of the kids can advise.

Fair enough, I was just thinking you might be stuck for space if putting in a twitter and facebook logo.

Better, or worse?
