Hi,

Is it possible for new homebrew suppliers to set up a stand or hand out fliers at the expo? Do we need to register with anyone beforehand? We're a health food shop in Cork who have just started selling beer kits and equipment, and we're hoping to send someone over to the expo, sounds like fun!

I spoke to a couple of local colleagues re this. As we had no positive response to our previous request for homebrew suppliers (One withdrew his offer) and the fact that Shane from Homebrew Company, when contacted, agreed to come dowm from Co. Laois we feel he should have exclusive rights to sales on the day considering the commitment / expense he is committing to in attending. Natural Choice sent a pm by a colleague re same.

Ger , Peter and I just met with a lovely Journalist from the Cork news and did a little interview on Irishcraftbrewer , the Brew it yourself and quality Micro brewed beers .

Be nice to see a bit of it in print !!

Firstly its great to see the HBC in Cork again. But is it not a bit elitist to prevent new suppliers from attending ? Im sure they would not be in the same league as shane for stock range / price or brewing advice. But If its a bricks and mortar shop that has the basics isnt better than another mobile phone shop or bookies ?
