ICB Camping weekend anyone? 16 years 3 weeks ago #1

Hi all,

I was at the last meet and it was suggested that an ICB camping weekend would be great fun. Due to, erm, beer tasting fatigue, I agreed that it was a good idea and Id try to organise it.

My suggestions:
1) It should be scenic (for hiking / going for a spin in the car)
2) It should be kid friendly.
3) It should take place it towards the centre of the coutry to make it as convenient of as many as possible (I was thinking of the Wicklow hills).
4) I think the weather is critical in this sort of endeavour, so I suggest we should pick a few possible weekends and then just go away for the nice one(s)

The reason for this post it to try to get an idea of how many people would be interested in coming along to such a thing, and to find out what everyone else thinks would work. If theres enough interest I'll go ahead and organise it!

Cheers
Ed

Haha. Since when is Wicklow in the centre of the country?

Wicklow's near Bray though Ed.

Sorry for landing you in it but I thought it was a great idea at the time and still do. Fair play for seeing it through.

Hey if you are looking for the [i:37r6kjbk]centre [/i:37r6kjbk]of the country, that would be westmeath

Only hill though is Croghan Hill[/url:37r6kjbk] in Offaly and while historic, is not much of a hill

Was gonna say that the centre of the country would offer more opportunities for trudging than hiking
