Maybe I just got lucky. Anyway I would have thought that €2.50 was above the limit of what they could justify selling it for in the off licence. It is only a 330mL bottle, after all.

i think 2.50 is quite a good price considering the cost of craft beers in offos. Lovely tipple too!

I arrived at around 2:30 on Sat. The queues were around a 30+ minute wait. It did put a downer on things. Queuing didn't leave much time to sample more and relax in the sun. I enjoyed the few beers, and the weather made it. Hopefully next year there will be more bodies serving.

I walked through the park from the North Circular entrance. It was a nice walk up to the venue. With the weather as good as it was it made me remember how lucky we are to have the Phoenix park on Dublin's doorstep. Have to get up there more.

I had a good time at this yesterday, got there before the queues so tried everything I wanted to and it was great to meet some of the people from this site. You've inspired me to be more adventurous with my next brew, watch this space...

Any idea how many showed up over the weekend, it looked like most stands were under prepared for the numbers.

I meant to say "about the limit". not "above".

Just back from Septemberfest. Sorry I was of no help today. But I had good fun pretending to be a barman for the day. I thought today went really well, people learned from yesterday so the queues were more sensible, I think.
