The info on the bord bia site is kind of limited. Can anyone in the know answer the following ?

Is there parking at Farmleigh ? As usual the "getting there" only mentions public transport as apparently it's not PC to drive to events anymore.

Will there be beer on sale to take home or only to be consumed on site ?

Is the event suitable for small children (I'll have a 2 year old) ?

I am not going to give a 100% guarantee. But based on last year

No parking at Farmleigh or at least its limited enough its likely to be full. Plenty of parking around phoenix park if you don't mind walking a bit.

Yes some of the beer and cider could be taken home but not all of it as many of the brewers don't bottle. The bottles were also expensive.

The even seemed suitable for small children to me. I would go early as its likely to be less family friendly at 6 then at 2. I am not sure of the crowds this year, but as long as the weather is good there will be plenty of usable space outside.

You can park just beside Farmleigh though I'm sure this will fill up quickly. If you park in the Phoenix Park near Farmleigh it isn't a very long walk over.
It's forecasted to be dry and sunny for the weekend.

Last year some of the people had bottled beer for sale. Whitewater and Hilden had some for sale. I also bought a nice bottle of Boozeberries.

There were lots of families and kids there last year. They had music playing outside which hopefully if the weather holds everyone will be able to sit out and listen.

You can park on most of the roadway in the park, but if you park on Parkgate street, there will be a shuttle to the fEST.

All the brewers sell their beer to take home, but last year it was all gone by sat eve, maybe they will bring more this year.
