Temple Bar chocolate festival - Help needed 16 years 8 months ago #1

There is going to be a chocolate festival in October and I may be taking part in the homebrew end.
I meant to ask people last night but there was so much going on I forgot.

Basically they are looking for home brewers who have made chocolate beer so if anyone has made some and still has bottles or is planning on making some and would like to take part can you let me know?

I am not too sure of the details yet but they will be having molly's, youngs and also they hope to have the Porterhouse Chocolate truffle stout if it is still around.

Sounds interesting yes.
I will hopefully find out more next week and meet up with them to talk about it.

OK it seems to be planned for Friday the 30th of October as Saturday is Halloween so they are aiming for about 7.

There may be representatives from some of the Irish breweries there as well as their beer.

It will probably be held at the Turks head, thought the Porterhouse was first choice but considering it is a Friday night, it might be too busy.

I will probably be giving a talk on brewing beer before inviting the public to taste various commercial and home brew chocolate beers and pairing them with chocolate too.

If anyone would like to help out and perhaps be on hand with your ICB colours flying to answer questions it would be great. Just let me know please.

That sounds very civilised. I was at the Meeting House Square market during the festival last year and it was horribly crowded.

I should be able to make the event. It sounds like great fun.
