But the days of leaving my bottler opener out for general use are over. Get yourself a keyring bottle opener, folks.

Jeez lads, that looks like an awful lot of homebrew to be bringing to pubs. No wonder the pubs are not making any money. <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="" title="Rolling Eyes" /><!-- s:roll: -->

Actually I hope loads of 'antos' don't stumble across the broadcast of the show and think "Jeez that's great, a pub that lets you bring your own beer in to drink in their pub. 'Right, where's me dutchy, i'm off to that bully castle luv, it's just beside where ya get de metadone - pop in when you're done.'"

I must say that I really enjoyed the evening. I got plenty of good tips and advice for a newby starting out, so thanks to everyone that offered up advice.

It also turns out that my beer Poison wasn't a total disaster and thankfully didn't fizz over (too badly at least).

Thanks again to everyone.

Why thank you.

er, why thank you. In my defence, the beer is pretty young.[/quote:thlyvchy]

sorry that sounded bad it wasn't meant in a bad way.It was nice to get a a good example of acetaldehyde benchmark the flavours against others. It should go as it matures.

btw I liked your stout, there was a peppery after taste to it which was nice.

Great night everyone. It was great to meet some more new people from the site.

The beer was all good. I loved the shed aged brown ale, I think it was from Oblivious.

That was a fantastic night and I was glad to be there! Nice work to all the brewers. Hopefully my pale ale will measure up next time!
