I really liked the steam beer as well. Billings porterish dark ale was lovely.

It was a great night. I liked bigears hoppy brown ale (can't remember the name of it)
There was also one pale ale which had a text-book acetaldehyde green apple off flavour and I can still taste it this morning <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

er, why thank you. In my defence, the beer is pretty young.


After a bit of hanging round, waiting for someone to open the first bottle it was a great night.
Bigears' Bad Ass brown was indeed nice. As was Westbrew's bitter.
